Suzuki TL1000R

A funny story behind this one, I saw a TLR engine on ebay with a frame/swingarm/forks in Ireland and thought after I sell the other parts I will end up with a cheap spare engine.

When the pallet arrived I unpacked it and temporarily fitted the engine/forks/swingarm into the frame to save room. So I could move it around the garage I threw in a set of my wets on wheels.

When I stood back I had a rolling chassis. I had a load of TLR parts from a previous part out purchase and after a quick phone call landed on a full body kit......I now had nearly enough parts to build a complete bike and a means to sell my TLR parts in one lump.

The outstanding parts were sourced from Ebay and TLZone and a ground up rebuild was started

When it was finished a TLZone friend wanted to px a damaged TLS for a TLR, a deal was done and another TLS joined the family !

Here it is still with wets on before something more sensible was fitted
