Rear Hub and Wheel Alignment

The 5 Spoke Ducati 916 wheel has a different offset to the Triumph one, so this had to be addressed.

The old wheel locating dowels were pressed out and 4 new ones turned on the lathe with an extended shaft to pass through the alloy wheel spacer.

The Ducati wheel has a narrower hub so the 955 axle shaft had to be shortened and also the threads extending further towards the hub face, not an easy task on a case hardened shaft !

New lock ring holes were formed using a carbide burr in the mill.

The Triumph wheel nut collar didn't match the 916 wheel so a new one of those had to be made aswell.
